Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, and Doja Cat's "34+35" Video Has Arrived
Ariana Grande's "34+35" is the single that keeps on giving. First, the pop star dropped the track with her positions album in October, treating fans to a bouncy NSFW bop. The following month, she debuted the song's Fembot-inspired music video. Then, in January, she surprised the masses with a remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat. And now, for the final cherry on top, the trio have released a new video to honor their star-studded collab.
In the luxurious new visuals directed by Stefan Kohli, the trio take over a fancy hotel, decked out in lingerie and heels. Reading magazines by the pool in matching lounge chairs, posing on a spiral staircase, and making homemade videos are all on the agenda. They also order bottles of champagne, french fries, and desserts to their hotel room to top off the ultimate girls' night in.
Despite the lace and garters, the visuals are fairly tame compared to the innuendo-filled lyrics. (Grande's "Baby, you might need a seat belt when I ride it / I'ma leave it open like a door, come inside it," is just one example.) And the newly added rap verses take the song to the next level. "You bring your fine ass and overnight bag," Doja says. "I can make you pop, legs up like a cancan," Megan says on her turn.
Grande has another release up her sleeve after this music video. Next Friday, February 19, she'll drop a deluxe version of positions, including this remix and four new mystery songs.
