It's only been a few hours since Ariana Grande's rep confirmed that the "Positions" powerhouse married her fiancé Dalton Gomez in an intimate backyard ceremony. More details about their ceremony have surfaced, and to be honest, I could not be happier for the couple.

So, why did Daltiana tie the knot now, less than six months after they got engaged? Here's what we know about their wedding ceremony so far.

The couple planned their wedding together quickly after they got engaged. Sources say they got married now because their schedules were starting to get busy, especially with the U.S. opening up again and the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. A source close to Ariana told E! that she and Dalton both wanted a small summer wedding.

"It was beautiful but not over the top," the source told E!. "Ari wanted it to be simplistic and tasteful. All they cared about was having family there and to be able to enjoy the special moment together."

The wedding ceremony was reportedly held at Ari and Dalton's home in Montecito, California with a guest list of around 20 people, including both families and a few of their close friends.

"It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier," a close source told People.

When it comes to the events that occurred during the wedding, there aren't many public details just yet. E!'s sources say that there was a dinner where family members made a "special toast" to the newlyweds.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the ceremony started in the afternoon and went into the night. Both Ari and Dalton wanted the ceremony to be private and took precautions to make sure that happened. A source told the outlet that Joan and Frankie Grande — Ari's mom and older brother — are "big fans" of her new hubby.

"They think Dalton really balances Ariana out and allows her to be her true self. Ariana appreciates that Dalton accepts her and loves her for who she is," the source said. "He's a little nerdy and hardworking and she loves that about him. He's also very protective over her and goes above and beyond to make her happy."

Here's to a loving, healthy marriage for Daltiana! There's only one thing I'm left wondering: did Ari wore a pony to the ceremony?
