In case you've been living under a rock, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged last week, and Ariana is already defending herself against the haters. This weekend, Ariana Grande teased music from her forthcoming album "Sweetener" on Instagram.

And naturally, people wanted to know what song it was from, so one Twitter used tweeted to ask her if she had any tea to spill. She was answering questions all night so she responded:

She told the Twitter-sphere that the song was called "Pete," which is really cute.

But people went off, as they tend to do, criticizing her for singing about her brand new fiancee on her album. One person even said she was "dumb" for doing so. And she responded by saying "nah". And then another person said "u really don't give a f*ck do u sksksks" and Ariana responded with this:

"forreal. the truth is ☕️ i been the fuck thru it and life’s too short to be cryptic n shit about something as beautiful as this love I’m in. so ǝʇǝԀ it is."

So yeah, that's how she feels about that! Don't tell Ariana what to sing about, people, because she's going to do whatever the hell she wants anyway (as she should).

The two got engaged last week after dating for approximately a month, and apparently they did so while Pete was "on a break" with his now-ex-girlfriend Cazzie David, so like, you can make your own opinions about that.
