Therapy resources are things that you can find online or in an app store that help you get mental health assistance. It could be working with a company like BetterHelp, or you could download an app that enables you to get cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) assistance. Apps can help you note how your thoughts are affecting your feelings, which is extremely important in CBT. Some apps provide a place where you can track your mood and your thoughts. Sometimes your thoughts will be negative, and they’ll affect the way you feel about yourself. It’s important to recognize these negative thought patterns and realize your thoughts aren’t who you are. Having an app handy to take note of how you’re feeling is helpful both inside and outside of a therapy session because you can share what you’ve recorded with your therapist during a meeting and you can become more aware of your thoughts and use the skills that you’ve learned in therapy outside of a session.

There are resource apps for mental health available on every platform, and when you’re struggling, it’s important to remember that online therapy is one of the ways to get treatment for yourself.
