Applebee’s Already Has $5 Drinks For St. Patrick’s Day Including One Called The ‘Tipsy Leprechaun’
It seems like we just broke into the Conversation Hearts, but Valentine's Day is way in the rearview now, so it's time to officially start counting down the days to St. Patrick's Day, when we can eat corned beef, sip whiskey, and apparently go to Applebee's! The chain is offering two new $5 cocktails in honor of St. Patrick's Day that you're definitely going to want to try.
Applebee's has been rolling out some $5 Mucho cocktails over the past few months (which, yes, do fill the holes in hearts left by the monthly $1 drinks...but only barely!). This month, they're calling them $5 Saintly Sips in honor of St. Patrick's Day and they're worthy of your pot of gold. First up, they've got the Tipsy Leprechaun, which is Applebees' take on a Long Island Iced Tea. It's made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, melon liqueur, blue curacao, sweet & sour, and lemon lime soda. If that's not your jam, be sure to try the Pot O’ Gold Colada, which is a frozen piña colada made with Captain Morgan and mango. Each drink is served up BIG in one of Applebees' massive glasses, which is always good news.
Each of these can be yours now through March 29 at participating Applebee's restaurants. And since you're probably celebrating St. Patrick's Day at home this year (rightttt????), you can also get these drinks to-go at some locations, but you'll have to ask your local Applebee's about that one!
