Last year, Apple impressed shoppers with a high quality iOS tablet at a super low price. It’s not often that you hear the words “super low price” and “Apple” in the same sentence, but in the case of the Apple iPad (2018) it was true.
And for 2019, Apple re-designed the iPad with a larger display and more memory. For Black Friday, the 7th generation Apple iPad is on sale for just $249, or $80 off its list price at Walmart.
So what’s new for 2019? The latest Apple iPad (32GB/WiFi) comes equipped with a bigger 10.2-inch Retina Display, Touch ID fingerprint sensor for quicker unlock and 3GB of memory, compared to last year’s 9.7-inch non-Retina Display, no Touch ID and only 2GB of memory.
Armed with up to 10 hours of battery life, the new iPad is also better at productivity with support for the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard (sold separately), so you can use the tablet for sketching and word processing too. In addition, it features an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel “selfie” camera for FaceTime video chatting.
The latest Apple iPad is positioned to be another favorite for the holidays, especially at this low price point.
