Andrew Garfield Not Only Lied To Us — THE WORLD — About His Appearance In "No Way Home," But Also To Emma Stone

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME!!

OK, so remember back at the end of 2020 when everyone was freaking out online about the rumors that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire would make cameos in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

Then in 2021, the speculation continued as set photos were leaked and we were all collectively begging for more info on the movie?

At the time, all of the actors involved were extremely silent on the matter while Andrew and Tobey both vehemently denied the rumors of their appearances.

WELL, as we now know, they SURE WERE IN THAT MOVIE!!!! Not only did they make an appearance, but they freaking CO-starred in the majority of the film.

And apparently, Andrew is the greatest secret keeper in town, because he didn't even confide in Emma Stone when she asked.

In his recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Andrew revealed that Emma was asking the same questions as the rest of us.

"Emma kept on texting me. She was like, 'Are you in this new Spider-Man film?'" he said. "And I was like, 'I don't know what you're talking about.'"

"She was like, 'Shut up. Just tell me.'" he laughed. "I'm like, 'I honestly don't know' — I kept it going, even with her. And then she saw it. She was like, 'You're a jerk.'"

Knowing that THE Emma Stone, Andrew's former girlfriend of four years, was not even privvy to this information...the rest of us never had a chance.
