Hi, hello, is it hot in here?! Or did I just see Prince Harry reach across Meghan Markle's lap to plant a hand on her right thigh?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed on Friday in Australia during a public appearance on their royal tour. While the couple is known to hold hands all the freaking time, Prince Harry's gesture is more nuanced now that Meghan is pregnant, according to body-language expert Blanca Cobb: "He is using his arm, instinctively, to protect their unborn baby," she says, adding that he could have reached for her left thigh but appears to have gone for her right side for a reason.

His hand placement is also telling: "The mid-thigh is close to the pleasure zone. It's sensual," Cobb says.

By the looks of Meghan's genuine smile, she's embracing her husband's touch. "He's crazy about her, and she's crazy about him," Cobb says-and Meghan's response backs the theory:

Above, Meghan covers Harry's right hand with her own and uses her left to cradle Harry's inner forearm, amping up the skin-to-skin contact.

It's no wonder the mother-to-be is super cool with receiving her husband's touch in public despite the fact that those in line for the throne-like Harry's older brother-are expected to maintain some sense of decorum. It's why Prince William, who's next in line to be king, and his wife Kate Middleton largely keep their hands to themselves.

Ever since Meghan Markle stepped into the spotlight, she and Prince Harry have made it prettttty clear that they're not here to follow royal rules-particularly when it comes to PDA. Rules: Who needs 'em when love is in the air?!
