'Flip or Flop' Season 8 is Going to Get Heated
After finalizing their divorce last January, Flip or Flop stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa are ready for their eighth season flipping houses together - their first time as exes.
While fans are used to watching Tarek and Christina tackle projects as a family, with their two kids Taylor and Brayden, this season will certainly have a different dynamic. "It's kind of a rebirth," Tarek said in an interview with Us Weekly. According to Tarek, viewers can expect everything from eye rolls to heated arguments.
Regardless of what's going on in their personal lives, though, the former couple acknowledges that they have a job to do as business partners. "It's not something that we can just throw away, especially after all these years," Tarek said.
With Christina moving on to boyfriend Ant Anstead, a British TV presenter, maybe things won't be awkward after all. "I'm happy she met a nice, normal guy," Tarek said. As for his love life? "I'm rebuilding myself and focusing on my kids and being the best dad possible," he told the magazine.
Flip or Flop returns to HGTV on Thursday, May 31, at 9 p.m. EST.
