The model and brand ambassador for Roger Vivier, Inès de la Fressange, shares the little treats she’d rather not live without.

Who is your favourite designer and why?

Cristóbal Balenciaga was a genius. Of those today, Phoebe Philo, because she has a way of combining elegance with a rock ’n’ roll edge.

Which shoe designer do you swear by?

Bruno Frisoni for Roger Vivier. His designs are classic but never boring.

And what little luxuries do you rely on?

I love cashmere socks from Pantherella, bags of pot pourri from Santa Maria Novella, Guerlain’s Mitsouko perfume, jewellery from Charlotte Chesnais, the Viv’ Bow bag from Roger Vivier and sunglasses from Oliver Peoples. Oh, I’m so spoilt!

Do you have a favourite timepiece?

I wear a Jaeger-LeCoultre ultra-thin gold men’s watch and would love to find the old Rolex Oyster Perpetual that I lost years ago.

What’s your dream car?

A Delahaye 235M coupé.

Do you collect anything?

I can’t resist straw baskets and hats, and navy sweaters.

Which artist’s work would you love to hang on your wall?

Anything by Basquiat, Bonnard or Matisse.

Which chef would you ask to make your last supper?

Alain Passard. My favourite dish is a Moroccan pastilla and I love dining at The Ritz, so some combination of the three would be ideal.

Where in the world would your ideal home be and who would you choose to revamp it?

A house somewhere in Greece – one of those white ones that looks just like a cube of feta. And John Stefanidis would do the job perfectly.

Where would be your ultimate luxury escape?

Cap Rocat in Mallorca – a hotel in a fortress – is amazing. But my favourite escape of all time is the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.

What single thing would make your life more luxurious?
