Anthropologie’s Newest Collaboration Has Your Holiday Tablescape Covered
The Twelve Days of Christmas has never looked cuter
'Tis the season—Anthropologie just released a new collaboration with British artist and designer Lou Rota perfect for setting your holiday table.
The powerhouse team introduced this fun and festive collaboration as a part of their October Holiday House, and now you can shop the entire collection online and in stores.
Lou Rota takes her playful design inspirations straight from nature, resulting in unique vintage pieces with a splash of whimsy. Together with Anthropologie, she’s designed one of the most unique sets on the holiday market.
You can’t go wrong with any of the pieces in this cheerful holiday collection, but we’ve selected a few highlights from the collection to look out for. Many of the pieces are centered around the Twelve Days of Christmas carol, although others feature their own holiday-inspired designs.
By far the most popular pick is the Twelve Days of Christmas Dessert Plates, with vibrant designs that practically come to life on each plate. Every plate in this set of twelve was inspired by a day of Christmas from the beloved Twelve Days of Christmas carol, with Rota putting her own spin on a few of the characters.
The plates are completely unique under the carol's theme, featuring different rims, colors, and patterns. If you want to choose a few specific plates from the collection, this makes it easy to mix and match your favorite designs for just $20 per plate.
We couldn’t get enough of the cheerful carol-inspired sets, so the matching Twelve Days of Christmas Napkins are the perfect way to add even more style to your holiday dinnerware.
The 18-inch cotton napkins are a charming addition to the dessert plates, each napkin featuring a spin-off of its matching dessert plate design. Bordered in bold colors and festive holiday flowers, these luxurious napkins are sure to impress even the pickiest holiday guest.
There’s plenty more to explore for dinnerware and dining sets. The Twelve Days of Christmas Pitcher retails for just under $50 and is a stunning, retro-inspired statement piece, with bright turquoise accents and the classic partridge design on the body of the pitcher. Even the interior of the pitcher is lined with holiday branches.
This piece is handcrafted, giving every pitcher its own unique charm, but it’s still dishwasher safe to keep holiday cleanup running smoothly.
To complete your dining room set, all you need is the Twelve Days of Christmas Platter and Twelve Days of Christmas Table Runner. The platter keeps the bold turquoise theme running with its starry bordered design, and features plenty of fruity floral patterns surrounding the five golden rings.
The table runner is the final piece of dinnerware you’ll need for the holidays; it features all twelve Christmas carol characters together on a brightly bordered cotton cloth. It even has snowy embroidered embellishments on the edges.
As for a final few holiday favorites, Lou Rota’s holiday mug collection features a monogram with a related nature theme for each design. The mugs are available for just $14 each, and they’re sure to start a new personalized holiday tradition.
There are also three dish towels with various animal designs as decoration—and yes, this includes even more additions to the Twelve Days of Christmas collection.
