Another Tomorrow Receives $2M From Una Terra

Una Terra invests in underfunded industries under pressure to change.

And now, the Swiss-based early growth impact investment manager has invested $2 million in Another Tomorrow, a fellow B Corp focused on sustainable luxury ready-to-wear, as part of its Series A financing round. As such, Luca Zerbini, founding partner and CEO of Una Terra, will join Another Tomorrow’s board of directors.

“Fashion represents a significant environmental challenge: it is systemically extractive and a huge driver of negative externalities throughout the supply chain, from soil health to plastic pollution to carbon emissions,” Zerbini said. “It’s refreshing to see a luxury brand implementing a systems-thinking approach to creating a comprehensive circular business model.”

Another Tomorrow said the funding from Una Terra underscores both B Corp’s “unwavering commitment to progressing innovation in the service of scaling circular economy solutions addressing biodiversity loss and climate change.”

“Una Terra’s unique understanding of the intersection of the consumer, sustainability and circularity landscape makes them the ideal partner for Another Tomorrow,” said Vanessa Barboni Hallik, founder and CEO of Another Tomorrow. “Their lateral systems thinking approach to industry transformation and scalability, in addition to their global reach, positions them as an optimal growth partner to scale our early proven foundations. Luca will be an invaluable thought partner in our board room to help further our global leadership.”

Barboni Hallik—a former Morgan Stanley managing director—founded the New York-based luxury label with the “vision of industry transformation,” built on the foundation of circularity and digitalization. And Una Terra’s pan-European positioning supports the globalization of Another Tomorrow’s commercial and impact goals, the company said, as the strategic investment “sits at the heart” of the European innovation and sustainability landscape.

“I think we have a good understanding of both sides of the Atlantic Ocean and Another Tomorrow is entering from the UK so the language and the way of working in business are very similar,” Zerbini said. “We also have patterns in London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Germany, France, Italy that can really help with the introduction to both retailers and partners to accelerate the entry in the market for Another Tomorrow.”

Since its founding in 2020, Another Tomorrow has reached customers in 56 countries through distribution partners like Net-A-Porter, Neiman Marcus, Moda Operandi, and Saks. The luxury label has garnered attention from celebrities, including Angelina Jolie and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.

“In stark contrast to the prevailing fast fashion, Another Tomorrow sources farm-based responsibly grown material, adopts short and transparent supply chains, has a proprietary tech stack and comprehensive utilization of digital IDs, enabling tracing of origin, anti-counterfeiting and certified resale,” Zerbini said. “Another Tomorrow truly serves as a beacon of positive change for an industry ripe for transformation, and better aligned with the values of the new generation.”
