An angry mom said childless millennials should be banned from Disney parks, and Twitter has thoughts

Disney parks are some of the most magical places on Earth—no matter how old you are. With amazing food, delicious boozy drinks, and classic rides for thrill-seekers, there are many reasons to plan a Disney trip, even if you’re an adult and not planning on attending with kids. But apparently, not everyone thinks so.

On July 19th, one Twitter user shared a screenshot of a Facebook post in which a woman argued that adults without children should not be allowed in Disney’s theme parks. The anonymous mom, apparently upset after dealing with a cranky 3-year-old son at Disney World, began with, “It pisses me off TO NO END!!!!! when I see CHILDLESS COUPLES WITHOUT ANY [KIDS] AT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!” The rant included 27 angry-face emojis in total.

The screed continued with the woman writing that she chased her toddler around the park all day and had to deal with his temper tantrums. She also accused a young woman in “some very SLUTTY shorts” of making her son cry because she was standing in line to buy a pretzel.

As of July 29th, the rant has been retweeted more than 17,000 times and liked nearly 71,000 times. A columnist for the New York Post even wrote an op-ed siding with the aggrieved mother and arguing that it’s “weird” to visit Disney as an adult without kids.

But Twitter wasn’t here for all this Disney-shaming.

Some even pointed out how insensitive the argument was toward couples who can’t have children.

Childless adults aren’t hurting anyone by going to Disney theme parks. At the end of the day, the way you spend your vacation is 100% up to you.
