Angelina Jolie and family's trip to New York City, is the gift that keeps on giving. The Tourist actress, who recently turned 46, was photographed in NYC last week (probably grabbing a hot dog in a white tee), showing off some new ink with a significant meaning on her forearm.

A closeup of the star's new ink was captured in photographs obtained by Page Six. The new tattoo reads, "Eppur si muove," a saying in Italian, which translated means "And yet it moves." Seems like a simple enough phrase, but it actually dates back to 1633, when Galileo had to retract his (obviously now proven true) statement saying that the Earth moves around the sun.

In the photos, the actress is seen wearing a plain short-sleeved white tee that showed off her new tat, a gray midi skirt, and Salvatore Ferragamo Mules. It appears to be the same outfit she wore to grab a hot dog with her sons Pax and Knox.

Jolie and her kids were spending time in the Big Apple in celebration of her 46th birthday. Jolie was actually spotted not once but twice at her ex-husband Johnny Lee Miller's apartment in Brooklyn, each time accompanied by a different son.

The two met on set of Hackers in 1995 before tying the knot six months later. They divorced in 1999, but have remained friends over the years. It is unclear if this recent reunion is just a friendly reconnection or a Bennifer 2.0 situation. It's certainly worthy to note that Jolie's son Knox is friend's with Miller's son, but the Maleficent actress also had a bottle of Peter Michael Wine in tow on the Friday visit. So, you be the judge.
