Angelina Jolie is taking a break from her typical neutrals for something much brighter. On Wednesday, the actress stepped out with five of her six kids — Shiloh, 15, Zahara, 16, Maddox, 20, and Vivenne and Knox, 13 — in London for an Eternals afterparty in a chic caftan in a very unexpected color.

For the event, Jolie departed from her usual refined style, and opted for a vibrant green Valentino smock. She paired the piece with nude pointed-toe stilettos, minimal jewelry, and a fresh blow out.

The actress and her children were joined at the event by her co-stars and friends Salma Hayek and her husband François-Henri Pinault, Kit Harrington and his wife Rose Leslie, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Jolie and her kids have been on a press tour to promote her new movie, and during the numerous red carpet appearances, her daughters have reworn upcycled versions of their mom's past looks. Most recently, her daughter Shiloh revamped a black-and-white Dior dress from Jolie's closet, shortening the hem for a more youthful look. And last week, Zahara pulled out her 2014 Academy Awards gown. "My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff," Jolie previously told ET about her children's red carpet looks.
