Angelina Jolie Says Her Daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Influenced Her Latest Role

The actress made a rare comment about her daughter in an interview.

Angelina Jolie’s not a regular mom — she’s a cool mom, the kind who takes her kids to Target and browses cool mom stuff like Milano cookies. And she does it all in her beloved black-on-black uniform.

Jolie and three of her children, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and Vivienne, 12, hit up the chain’s West Hollywood branch in style. The Oscar winner wore her hair back in a clip and paired one of her go-to Everlane masks (5 for $25; everlane.com) with a simple black T-shirt, matching straight-leg jeans, large glasses, beige Valentino sandals with gold logo-bearing hardware, and a small black leather Valentino shoulder bag ($2,037; farfetch.com). Perhaps a little heavy on the Valentino for a family Target outing, but I imagine one takes some sartorial liberties when one’s name is Angelina Jolie.

The family emerged from their bargain retailer of choice with a full cart containing what we imagine to be only Target’s finest goods. Fingers crossed those Milanos made the cut.

Recently, Jolie opened up to E!’s Daily Pop about what life has been like in quarantine for her and the kids. “So, all six kids, my oldest son’s home from Korea. Lots of popcorn and just like really every family, we’re just pajamas, robes, snacks," she said. “You know, I’ve never been one who valued relaxation. I like chaos. I’ve been on high-level meetings where there’s dogs and balls and kids and things. You kind of just enjoy being human with everybody else and laughing through it.”
