Angelababy’s Awards Season Wardrobe Is a Couture Fairytale

When you’re Angelababy, couture outfits are a daily occurrence. The Chinese model-actress is known for her love of opulent fashion, and this week she had fun pulling out one princess-worthy dress after another as she hit up multiple awards shows. A Dior ambassador, she chose a voluminous Maria Grazia Chiuri–designed ballgown for her trip to the Mnet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong. The greige look featured several elements that have become constants within Angelababy’s wardrobe—its full skirt, layers of tulle, and hint of transparency fit with her ethereal vibe—while the exposed back with strands of woven silk rope added a touch of excitement.

Not content to wear just one statement look, Angelababy pulled out a second for her trip to the Style China Awards in Beijing earlier today. Luisa Beccaria’s fairytale gown kept with theme, thanks to its pale shade and dreamy silhouette, but the iridescent pattern prevented the dress from feeling repetitive. The crisscrossing zig-zag embroidery in shades of pale green, hot pink, and yellow contrasted beautifully with the beige fabric, giving the outfit a final pop of color in all those red carpet pictures.
