If you're wondering what Ana does to tone her core and arms, I've got you. For one, Ana has made it clear that she works hard to train for her (many) roles in action films, and that she does her own stunts, which takes a lot of work. She shared one example with Vogue UK: “I have to prepare for this action film I’m doing with really intense, physical work, training and choreographies. I do it from 9am to 2pm and then I get a break— and then on the weekends I go to the shooting range and I practice shooting with firing arms that I have to use in the film.”
She also noted that she’s focused on “knife training,” as one does. While practicing stunts for The Gray Man, Ana dropped some footage of herself faux beating up someone in a gym before thanking her trainer Don Thai. it looks like there's a lot of boxing-esque training involved here, which is sure to get her heart rate up.
Speaking of The Gray Man, Ana told Vogue that she got really into Pilates while shooting the movie in Prague. “I’ve been going to this beautiful pilates studio very close to my hotel. It’s in this gorgeous old majestic building on the top floor with windows to the river,” she said, adding that Pilates was “keeping me sane."
Ana also makes sure to take care of her body, using a mini Theragun to help massage her muscles so they can recover, or to warm them up before a long day of shooting. "I hold all of my tension in my shoulders and my legs, and this device is truly incredible. I have two of them," she told Vogue.
Ana told People that she loves being active. “Exercise also makes me happy, but it has to be fun,” she said. “I do something different every day—one day boxing, the next spinning or weight training—to not get bored.”
So relatable...Go, Ana, go!
