Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff is taking time to reflect on her life over the past three months. While she's had some incredible moments, like celebrating her 55th birthday and getting engaged to her fiancé Chris Marek, she also has had to cope with the death of her mother, Patricia Knight. Ahead of Thanksgiving, Amy shared an emotional Instagram post giving TLC fans insight into how these different events have affected her and reminding folks of the importance of being “grateful and thankful.”

“I must admit I haven’t handled the collision of all these wonderful and sad emotions and life moments all at once as gracefully as I had hoped or wanted,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself. “That’s where faith and grace showed up for me because I let it. It was a lot of stuff to handle for me and I’m realizing I really don’t handle stress as well as I had thought.”

A lot has happened in the last almost 3 months in my world. Whew! Many different emotions from happy and elated to sad and stressful. From my birthday, to getting engaged ❤️and going to be a grandma very soon again😊 to my Mom passing away, her memorial service in Michigan, 😔 and the length of time, much longer than thought, it’s taking to move out of the farm house to dealing with contractors in a new house. I must admit I haven’t handled the collision of all these wonderful and sad emotions and life moments all at once as gracefully as I had hoped or wanted. That’s where faith and grace showed up for me because I let it. 🙏🏻 It was a lot of stuff to handle for me and I’m realizing I really don’t handle stress as well as I had thought. I’ve learned to give myself a little more grace which allowed me to look at a new day with a better attitude and see how much I have to be grateful and thankful for and still do. I’m engaged to a wonderful awesome guy, I’m a grandma, I have a little time to get to take to move into a new house, I miss my Mom a lot but the abundant memories I have of her will always be with me and those memories will help me continue to try and be my best each day. 🙏🏻. Faith, hope, grace and love have been what has lifted me up all my life, and did during these last few months with all of these mixed emotions and life moments. November... with Thanksgiving coming up it’s a month that reminds me how much I have to be thankful for, when life is going amazingly wonderful, just blah or stressful, I still have a lot to be thankful for. . . ❤️🍁🍂🧡🍂🍁#thankful #lifemoments #amyroloffssecondact #believeinyou #faith #grace #hope #love #stayfocused #godisgood #always #itsawonderfullife

The mother of four went on to update fans on the process of moving out of her home on Roloff Farms after accepting a buyout from ex-husband, Matt Roloff. Apparently, it's taken “much longer than [she] thought” and she's dealing with "contractors in a new house.” Through it all though, Amy has given herself “a little more grace” and learned to “look at a new day with a better attitude.”

While counting her blessings, like becoming a grandma to her son Zach and daughter-in-law Tori's second baby soon and having "a wonderful awesome guy" in her life, Amy touched on missing her mom after attending her memorial service in Michigan. “I miss my Mom a lot but the abundant memories I have of her will always be with me,” she wrote. “Those memories will help me continue to try and be my best each day.”

Of course, the Roloff matriarch’s comment section was instantly flooded with fans showing their love and support. “It’s good you are giving yourself grace... that’s a whole lot to deal with.... and we are only human after all! ❤️” one person said. Another fan gave a gentle reminder, “Maybe you are putting to [sic] much on yourself.. step back and enjoy what’s important... and most importantly take care of yourself first.”

In the end, Amy is leaning on “faith, hope, grace, and love” to lift her up during challenging life moments. “November ... reminds me how much I have to be thankful for,” she wrote. “When life is going amazingly wonderful, just blah or stressful, I still have a lot to be thankful for.”
