Blame it on the Kylie effect, our seemingly ceaseless need to better our appearances, or radical innovations in the plastic surgery space, but Americans are throwing down the dough on cosmetic enhancements — and the number of participants continues to rise.

According to a recent report by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Americans are spending more and more on cosmetic enhancements — both non-invasive and surgical procedures. In the last year alone, they spent a whopping $16 billion (yes, billion) on treatments. (To put those digits into perspective, that's the exact amount Mexican business tycoon Carlos Slim, who was once dubbed the richest person in the world, lost once President Trump took office.)

What's more, is that the report also broke down the number of procedures logged — as well as the average cost of each treatment — from the previous year. For example, based on the report's findings, there were an estimated 7 million injection procedures, such as Botox and Dysport, which certainly sync up to recent statistics that demonstrate the rise of injectables. While lower-impact treatments, like laser light, climbed to more than 650,000.

And as the desire for these procedures rises, so does the cost. The report also found that the average price of the two types of injections — Botulinum toxin type A and hyaluronic acid — has increased since 2015 by one percent and five percent, respectively. Based on previous trends, we can only guess those numbers will continue to climb. For the full list of current average costs per treatment or procedure, check out the breakdown, below.

Plastic surgery procedures:

Breast augmentation (290,467 procedures): $3,719 Liposuction (235,237 procedures): $3,200 Nose reshaping (223,018 procedures): $5,046 Tummy tuck (127,633 procedures): $5,798 Butt augmentation (18,489 procedures): $4,356

Non-invasive treatments:

Injections (i.e. Botox and Dysport): (7 million procedures): national average cost of $385 Hyaluronic acid fillers (2 million procedures): $644 Chemical peel (1.3 million procedures): $673 Microdermabrasion (775,014 procedures): $138 Laser treatments (Intense Pulsed Light) (656,781 procedures): $433
