'American Idol' Judge Katy Perry Looks Incredible in a Double-Denim Outfit

Very few can pull off a Canadian tuxedo, but Katy Perry's recent take on it shows she's one of them.

The 38-year-old American Idol judge was seen out in London in early July during a date night with fiancé Orlando Bloom, 46, wearing a denim top and pants combo that she pulled off effortlessly. She wore a sleeveless button-down denim shirt with a peplum bottom and long denim bell-bottom jeans. Her hair was down with a soft wave, and she kept makeup simple with some bronze eyeshadow and a dark pink lip.

The "I Kissed A Girl" singer and her Pirates of the Caribbean fiancé were out together at the Vogue x Self Portrait party on July 13, described as a summer celebration of the world's "fashion, film music and sport" hosted by British Vogue in partnership with Self-Portrait. The couple, who now share an almost three-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, are clearly trying to get in some more date nights together before Katy gets back to filming season 22 of American Idol, where she has been a judge since 2018. Orlando will also start filming the Amazon series adaptation of a book, This Must Be The Place, in the next few months.

While Katy is not shy about showcasing her unique outfits, whether that be her MET gala one-shoulder gown with floral lace, her shimmery gold backless dress at King Charles' coronation or a two-piece sequined gold outfit she wore while filming last season of American Idol, there is one outfit everyone is dying to see — her wedding dress.

There's no word on when Katy and Orlando, who have been together since January 2016, plan to tie the knot, but we can definitely expect a one-of-a-kind look from the bride-to-be — and we're counting down the days until we finally get to see it!
