Between hosting American Idol and running his charitable foundation, it seems like Ryan Seacrest is always working on something. Now, he's teaming up with a loved one to pursue a new project that's especially near to his heart.

In a surprise Instagram announcement on March 5, the impending Wheel of Fortune host announced he and his sister Meredith got together to write a children's book. Titled The Make-Believers, the picture book is set to be released on October 8, 2024. What's more, Seacrest shared the illustrated cover, along with the inspiration behind this new career venture.

"I’m thrilled to announce that my sister Meredith and I have written a children’s book called The Make-Believers, and it’s coming out this fall!" he shared on March 5. "Growing up, we constantly used our imaginations to dream big and take us far. And interacting with so many children through the @ryanfoundation has deepened our desire to encourage kids to dream and understand that through the power of their imaginations, they can envision an extraordinary life. With The Make-Believers, we hope to instill a belief in the magic of creating their own unique worlds."

Upon seeing the news, fans were thrilled for Seacrest to try his hand at something different than what he's usually known for.

"Congrats to both of you!!!! I want to buy it for my grandkids. Amazing!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🎉," one person wrote on Instagram. "Sweet... is there anything you cannot do? So talented," another replied. "This is so awesome, congratulations Ryan and Meredith ❤️," a different follower added.

So, what exactly will The Make-Believers be about? Although Seacrest teased a little bit of what's to come, the official description from the publisher describes the debut as a "book that celebrates the surprising strength of a child’s wild, wonderful imagination and how it can change the whole world."

Additionally, the site notes Ryan and Meredith hope to "encourage little ones everywhere to imagine big, to dream far, and to always follow their hearts with this delightful book about the transformative power of play."

Congrats, and we can't wait to read this soon!
