While you may be used to browsing the 'Today's Deals' page on the site, it's not the only section where you can find some bargains.

Aptly named Amazon Warehouse, the little-known section is full of returned and used products that you can snap up with some whopping discounts.

While savings can be found up to 70% off usual retail price, you can also currently get an additional 20% discount on over 100,000 products until midnight on July 10, so there really are some bargains to be had.

What is Amazon Warehouse?

Amazon Warehouse is an offshoot of Amazon that sells used, returned and pre-owned items, as well as open-box products that could have been returned due to packaging damage.

Each item purchased has all the benefits of a regular Amazon item purchased, including being eligible for free delivery and has Amazon’s regular returns policy, so you have within 30 days to return the product unused from receipt of delivery.

All Amazon Warehouse items are also covered under statutory legal warranty. So, if your item becomes defective after the return period the site will repair the defective item. Or, if a repair isn't possible they will refund the purchase price. You can see a full rundown of Amazon's Returns Policy here, as some exclusions may apply.

What condition are Amazon Warehouse items in?

Each item sold via Amazon Warehouse is thoroughly tested before being listed and each product has a description that makes it easy to know the condition of the item. Many of the items simply have light wear and tear, or minor defects that most people wouldn’t notice.

Each item is labelled with a indicator of its condition, here's a glossary of the terms:

  • Used - Like New: An item in perfect working condition, the packaging may bear some damage.

  • Used - Very good: An item in very good condition that may have seen limited use and fully functions. The item may have minor cosmetic imperfections and could be missing some non-essential accessories.

  • Used - Good: An item in good condition that may show wear from moderate use and fully functions. It may have minor cosmetic damage and could be missing some valuable accessories.

  • Used - Acceptable: An item may have clear signs of usage but still serves its main function. The item may show signs of previous use and could be missing some valuable accessories, components or spare parts, and it may not be used until those parts are purchased separately.
