Get ready to kiss those dreaded food-delivery fees goodbye thanks to a newly announced partnership between Amazon and Grubhub. This week, it was revealed that Amazon Prime members will now have access to a free year of Grubhub+.

If you're unfamiliar with Grubhub+, it's a monthly membership to Grubhub that includes perks like no delivery fees, exclusive rewards, and donation matching.

In order for Amazon Prime subscribers to take advantage of the offer, they'll have to activate Grubhub+ through Amazon. From there, they'll be taken to the Grubhub website to create an account for the delivery platform. Keep in mind that the free membership only lasts 12 months, so don't wait too long to place those delivery orders.

The Takeout reports that as part of the agreement, Grubhub will grant Amazon a small stake in their company. That stake is a little over 2%, but could rise to 13% if the partnership goes well, according to Bloomberg.

“Both Grubhub and Amazon have transformed people’s lives by providing them with unprecedented choice and convenience,” said Ariella Kurshan, Senior Vice President of Growth at Grubhub, in a statement. “With the new Grubhub and Amazon offering, Prime members now can enjoy free delivery from hundreds of thousands of restaurants across the country, when they sign up for a year of free Grubhub+."

News of the perk comes less than a week before Prime Day (July 12-13), Amazon's highly anticipated shopping holiday that includes deep discounts on kitchen appliances, electronics, and much more for Amazon Prime members.
