From Woman's Day

The most wonderful time of the summer is almost here: Amazon Prime Day 2019.

Amazon just announced everything you’ve been wanting to know about its biggest sale of the year. Although we still aren’t sure what the specific deals are, we do know one thing — you'll likely see the most savings on electronics and kitchen appliances. So, rather than stocking up on toilet paper and garbage bags, take advantage of the possible deals on that robot vacuum and Instant Pot you've had on your wish list for a while.

Here's everything we know about the upcoming Amazon Prime Day.

When Is Amazon Prime Day 2019?

Amazon Prime Day 2019 starts at midnight PT on Monday, July 15 and goes on for 48 hours, making this year’s Prime Day sale the longest one yet.

However, according to an official press release, members can already start seeing deals pop up right now. Starting today, the Toshiba HD 43-inch Fire TV Edition Smart TV is just $179.99, saving members a total of $120.

Who Can Take Advantage of Amazon Prime Day 2019?

Any person who has Amazon Prime — the 30-day trial, the monthly subscription, or the yearly one — can participate in the sale.

If you want to take advantage of the sale, you can sign up a couple of days before Prime Day and cancel before the 30 days are up.

What's Going to Be On Sale On Amazon Prime Day 2019?

When it comes to Prime Day, Amazon likes to keep its sales under wraps until the very last minute. For that reason, you’ll have to check the website constantly to view its Lightning Deals, which happen every five and 10 minutes.

The company did say, however, that members can find the biggest Prime Day deals on Alexa-enabled devices. This means that you can shop through Alexa to get the best prices. More specifically, members can save on products like the Chefman TurboFry, Proscenic Robot Vacuum Cleaner, and the Graco Landmark 3-in-1 Car Seat.

And if you love using your Amazon Prime for Whole Food purchases, you can also save big on select products, though we don’t know what those are yet.

What’s New This Amazon Prime Day 2019?

This year, Amazon Prime members can expect the most benefits in Prime’s entertainment section, such as Amazon Music and Prime Video. And starting today, members can rent the just-released movie Us for $2.99.

Amazon will also be releasing brand new and exclusive collaborations with celebrities, including Dance Moms’ JoJo Siwa, pro football player Sterling Shepard, model Chanel Iman, and Hanna Andersson, an online retail company that specializes in children’s apparel.
