GameStop is known for the game deals it sometimes serves up for its Pro members, but if you don't count yourself among that number — or if you've cancelled your membership in lieu of their recent price hike — you don't have to miss out. Amazon is matching or even beating some of GS's prices, with discounts as steep as the decrease in your loss ratio now that Street Fighter 6 has better netcode.

Raise crops, go dungeon diving, get to know the villagers, and so much more in this farming simulator that has a decidedly 'Square Enix'–like flavor to it.

"Best game ever since Oninaki. The game graphics are mystical and artistic, the storyline has so many twists and turns. I’ve played many RPG games, but this one wasn’t predictable at all," one player raved.

In this fast-paced action RPG, fight your way through swarms of enemies and put a stop to Ragnarok before it can take hold and end the world.

One player quipped, "I think Valkyrie Elysium is a great action RPG. The combat is fast and fun. The story could use improvement but the combat more than makes up for it. I was playing the new God of War then got this and have not touched God of War since.. once I finish Valkyrie I will go back. Highly recommend."

If you're a fan of tactical RPGs, you don't want to miss this modern remake of a classic game. Fight battles on three-dimensional battlefields and think multiple steps ahead to stay on top of the action.

"If you've never played Tactics Ogre but you're a fan of the isometric strategy RPG genre, get this game. It has been often imitated, but never duplicated. The closest was Final Fantasy Tactics, but even that gem pales in comparison," said one shopper.

With a 50% markdown, this is actually a better deal than GameStop offers on this title. Score major savings and play through a game featuring your favorite characters from 'Three Houses' in a more action-oriented gameplay style.

"An awesome sequel," one player said. "Good character writing, cool music, awesome visuals, fun gameplay. All around I am quite satisfied with it."

Like a Dragon: Ishin captures the same ridiculous, over-the-top storytelling of the Yakuza series, but sets it in a more historical context. Even better? The game is relatively new and not even on sale at GameStop — but it is at Amazon.

"Just finished today, and I must say this is a must-have game for people who are into Yakuza games or people who just want something fascinating to play," said one five-star reviewer. "The story kept me hooked; the only recommendation I’d make is going to the official website and looking over the character names before you play."

From the creators of 'Dead Space,' this is a horror game that will suck you in — and have you looking for an escape button, or at least the light switch.

"Great graphics, good storyline. If like dead space you'll like this," said one fan.

Experience a remake of a fantastic SNES-era JRPG, reformatted for a new console.

"Great retro game!" said one succinct shopper. "Fun gameplay, great voice acting, excellent story."

Befriend monsters and use their various abilities in your search for treasure in this kid-friendly, adorable game.

"If you are looking for a game to just run around in some areas and do some treasure hunting and recruiting monsters to help you, look no further! I am having an absolute blast playing this game. The gameplay can get repetitive, but it wasn't enough for me to feel like I want to stop playing it because I am having way too much fun exploring and finding treasure, collecting materials, and trying to get monsters to recruit. I have had it for almost a week as of writing this review and I am extremely happy with my purchase," said one player.

Want to get into video game streaming? You'll need a webcam, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a better one than the Razer Kiyo. Oh, and it's $10 less at Amazon than at GameStop.

"I don’t usually write reviews for anything, but saw this [headset] on sale and got it. It’s probably hands down one of the best mics I’ve ever had. It’s super comfortable, and it being climate-friendly makes a bigger difference than you think. Sound and quality is good as well," one shopper said.

The reviews quoted above reflect the most recent versions at the time of publication.
