A new Alexa Voice Remote for your Amazon Fire TV is being released next month, so that means you’ll be needing a new cover to go with it. In collaboration with Disney+ and Lucasfilm, you can get two Star Wars-themed covers that will fuel your love of Grogu, aka The Child, aka Baby Yoda.
The remote covers come in two designs: The first (The Mandalorian) is blue and shows The Child with the words Star Wars: The Mandalorian on the back and the second (Grogu) is green featuring Baby Yoda with Star Wars wording on the back. Both also have themed designs on the front of the cover, too. They are compatible with the Alexa Voice Remote (second and third generations). The covers are made of silicone, so it’ll protect the remote when you accidentally drop it or fling it off your bed when you’re making it.
The out-of-this-world remote covers will be available on Amazon for $18.99 beginning on April 28, but you can take advantage of the presale now. Although they cover most of the remote, you don’t need to worry about having access to the ports, buttons, and functions.
In case you were wondering what’s different about the new Alexa Voice Remote, minor updates have been made, such as preset buttons to launch your favorite apps and a guide button to view consolidated channel and program listings from live TV apps. You can snag the remote separately for $29.99 on Amazon or with the purchase of Fire TV Stick (third-generation) devices beginning on April 14. The remote is compatible with Fire TV Stick (second and third generations), Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick Lite, and Fire TV Cube (first and second generations).
