Amanda Bynes Is Sharing Photos of Her Fiancé on Instagram

It's been a busy weekend for Amanda Bynes. First, on Friday, which happened to be Valentine's Day, she posted a photo of an engagement ring. "Engaged to tha love of my life," she wrote, letting everyone in on the big news. Then, she began the slow process of letting her followers in on her relationship, with a post on Saturday and a post on Sunday.

While there isn't a lot of news out there about Bynes and her new man, E! News identified him as Paul Michael. The outlet reports that Bynes met Michael in a rehabilitation facility and that the two have been dating for several months. As for the legitimacy of the quickie engagement, a source told E! that it's very real.

"She seems happy,” a source told People. The magazine adds that Bynes is currently living at a sober living facility and that her sudden activity on Instagram is unusual. She's been quiet on the platform since joining last October. Bynes graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in June 2019 and entered rehab. In the past, Bynes explained that she stepped away from the spotlight to focus on herself and her mental health.

"Amanda is doing great, working on herself, and taking some well-deserved time off to focus on her wellbeing after graduating FIDM [Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising] in December," Bynes attorney, Tamar Arminak, said in a statement to E!. "She's spending time reading and exercising, sketching for her new line and mostly making sure this time around she puts her needs first."
