Amal Clooney made a festive style statement at “The Boys in the Boat” premiere in London on Monday, opting for black velvet pants set that nodded to the upcoming holiday season.

Clooney posed alongside her husband George wearing a one-shoulder corset top with a rounded neckline, paired with black trousers. The activist and lawyer accessorized her all-black look with pointed-toe heels, a footwear signature for her.

Clooney attended the premiere to support her husband, who is the director of the upcoming film.

The couple last coordinated looks at their Clooney Foundation for Justice Albie Awards in September. To that event, which honored five individuals who upheld the morals of justice, Clooney went glamorous in a glittering Versace gown covered in crystals.

To meet with U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and U.N. Ambassador Nadia Murad, the barrister layered a beige trenchcoat over a vibrant green midi dress.

“The Boys in the Boat,” which will be released in theaters on Christmas Day, centers around a rowing team as they compete in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. The sports drama is based on the true story of the University of Washington rowing team, documented in the nonfiction book written by Daniel James. Brown of the same name.
