Amal Clooney Brings Old Hollywood Glamour to the Royal Wedding

Amal Clooney never fails to make bold moves on red carpet in Hollywood alongside her husband George, and today in Windsor, England, she proved can hold her own in a royal setting, too. The human rights attorney appeared to be drawing on old Hollywood glamour for Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry in a look by Stella McCartney.

The ‘40s-inspired below-the-knee dress came in a warm shade of marigold yellow, with retro-style three-quarter sleeves. The streamlined silhouette recalled the looks that Clooney wore during the Venice Film Festival and in Cannes last year. And as far as hats go, Clooney’s jaunty number will be hard to beat even in this well-dressed, highly distinguished crowd.
