Allison Janney split her dress at an awards show event
Although Allison Janney had a good night at the Golden Globes, she visited The Talk to describe a precarious time she had at a BAFTA Tea Party in Los Angeles on Jan. 6. The I, Tonya star said she arrived in a beautiful dress that was admittedly “a little tight.” She said, “And I went to sit down for my interview, and it was the biggest rip you’ve ever heard.”
The Talk showed a picture of the back of Janney’s dress, split at the seams. Janney said that to her dismay, everyone in the room started laughing, but she managed to recover and see the humor in the situation.
Luckily, Janney’s publicist gave her a cardigan to wear around her waist for the rest of the event.
