And since then, the comedian and actress has been making major strides in Hollywood, from her successful rom-com, Always Be My Maybe, to her Netflix stand-up specials Baby Cobra, Hard Knock Wife and Don Wong. TIME also named her one of the 100 Most Influential People of the Year in 2023.

To say the year was momentous (or that she nicely padded her net worth) is an understatement.
