Alexis Ohanian Has Fully Embraced Long Hair
This flow is epic.
Over the weekend, Serena Williams made headlines at the Australian Open — she beat world no. 2 Simona Halep — and will undoubtedly make a few more when she takes on Naomi Osaka in the semifinal round tomorrow. However, off the court, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, was making news of his own thanks to his hair.
Ohanian, who was in the stands with the couple's daughter, Olympia, shared a snapshot of his look (along with a T-shirt that we would very much like to own, thank you very much) and, of course, Twitter made their thirst known. During the tournament, he had an array of looks. He tucked the locks under a cap, wore his hair in a half-up, half-down man bun, and let the flow fly unencumbered.

Twitter users compared his new hair to Jedi legends, the Winter Soldier, and understandably added that he could probably snag a few endorsements of his own with the new look. And the cool T-shirts didn't go unnoticed, either. In addition to his Nike Greatest Athlete look, he wore another that read "Unstoppable Queen."
Husbands everywhere know this look: You got this. https://t.co/c0kPuBUXNe

Williams is taking full credit for the long locks. Back in September 2020, she hosted a fan Q&A on Instagram Live and said that she encouraged the look and knew that it would look "hot" on him.
"Full responsibility for Alexis's hair. I told him around [the start of] COVID that he should grow his hair out and he took it literally," Williams said during the broadcast. "I showed him a picture of when he had his hair long and he's been growing it ever since. And now it's getting really long and I kinda think it's hot."
At the time, Ohanian's hair wasn't nearly as long as it is now, not even brushing at his collarbones. What a difference a few months can make.
