While Jennifer Lopez hasn't wasted any time swan diving into the dating pool post-Alex Rodriguez, the feeling isn't mutual. A source close to the superstar athlete told Entertainment Tonight that while headlines have been focusing on his friendship with Ben Affleck's ex, Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus, A-Rod isn't looking to date.
A source noted that "he isn't going to be dating for a while." As for Shookus, the two have known each other for more than 15 years, so anything between the two is simply friendship, not anything romantic.
"He was at her house for an hour," the source added. "He is friends with a lot of women."

While Lopez hasn't been shy about reuniting with Affleck, Rodriguez has been keeping to himself and spending time with his children, Natasha and Ella, and his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Rodriguez and Scurtis were married from 2002 to 2008.
Just last week, sources close to Rodriguez noted that he'd held out some hope for a reconciliation with Lopez, but was finally accepting that it probably won't be happening.
"When they first split, he wanted to work things out, and still held on to hope that he and J.Lo would get back together," a source said to ET. "He's come to terms with the fact that it's over now."
