Aldi Is Selling a Pesto Dip Made From Avocados That Is Plant-Based and Dairy-Free

It's safe to say that Aldi knows what it's doing when it comes to dips. The grocery store sells crab rangoon dip and lobster roll dip, so it's only right that they made something creative with avocado.

The avocado pesto dip is totally plant-based, meaning it's also dairy-free for all of those lactose intolerant people who have trouble finding chip accompaniments they can enjoy. It can be found on shelves with plant-based queso and cilantro dip, so there's really a flavor to fit everyone's liking.

Aldi's pesto dip looks like a lighter green color than a traditional pesto, but that also means it's probably creamier. Since it's a dip and not a sauce, avocado pesto would definitely be better to use as a side with veggies or pita chips or even as a spread on a sandwich rather than incorporating it into a pasta dish (but also, do you!).
