Aldi’s German Week Is Back So You Can Get Pretzel Breadsticks, Apple Strudel, And More Right Now

If 2021 hasn't been the year you've been waiting on, then Aldi is here to make everything better. Though the grocery store giant has already made us swoon with the release of their new cajun crab dip and both their Chicken Alfredo and Jalapeño Poppers pizzas, the news of German Week returning really takes the cake.

If you're not familiar with German Week, Aldi celebrates this momentous occasion twice every year—once in September right before Oktoberfest and once in the Spring around Easter. And, if your days are still running together—because, hey, this past year has really been one big fat blur—Easter has just passed, which means it's time to revel in joy for all that is German treats!

What's on the lineup this year, you ask? From April 7 to April 13, Aldi shoppers will be able to pick up a range of food items including pretzel breadsticks, savory and sweet strudels, German lentil vegetable or chickpea soup, German style pickles, Peanut Puffs and more. And the best part of it all is that all of the products can be found for well under $5, which means you don't have to go broke trying out new things if this is your first romp at German Week. A true delight, if you ask me.

For the alcohol lovers out there, Aldi will also have 750-mL bottles of Schloss Obermann German Sekt sparkling wine at some locations during the week, too. Please remember that that's only at some locations though. I don't want to be held liable if your needs aren't met when you show up. Happy German Week shopping!
