Aldi Is Bringing Back Its Wine and Cheese Advent Calendars Just in Time for the Holidays
While it’s hard to believe it’s already time to start talking about advent calendars, the holidays will be here before you know it. Aldi is making sure we have everything we need for a proper countdown with its 2020 wine and cheese advent calendars.
Aldi first released the wine and cheese advent calendars a few years ago, and luckily for us, it has been bringing it back every year since. You’ve probably already put this together in your head, but if you snag both of the calendars, you’ll be set for an after-dinner treat throughout December.
The 2020 Collection Wine Advent Calendar consists of two dozen 187-milliliter bottles of wine, which is equivalent to six full bottles. As for the Emporium Selection Advent Cheese Calendar, you can expect a rectangular-sized piece of cheese each day.
The wine and cheese advent calendars — $69.99 and $14.99, respectively — will be available at Aldi beginning on Nov. 4. If the hype is anything like it was in previous years, these will sell out across locations, so procrastinating is the last thing you should do.
In addition to the wine and cheese calendars, Aldi has an additional 18 varieties so you can find the one that speaks to your holiday spirit. There are other drink-inspired ones, like the beer advent calendar, hard seltzer advent calendar, and coffee advent calendar, as well as fun ones like the candle advent calendar and Barbie advent calendar. All of those will also be available on Nov. 4.
A chocolate advent calendar and Irish Country Cream advent calendar will be hitting stores on Nov. 25 and the sparkling wine advent calendar for New Year’s Eve will make its way to Aldi on Dec. 2.
Although we’re supposed to wait until Dec. 1 to break open advent calendars, something tells us that we’re going to have an especially tough time waiting this year.
