  • Alaskan Bush People star Rain Brown is known for her open and honest Instagram posts.

  • The 16-year-old recently shared a heartfelt message with followers encouraging them to "see what tomorrow brings."

The stars of Alaskan Bush People have earned a cult following over the years because of their unconventional lifestyle. But one member of the Brown family seems just like any other teen her age. Rain, the youngest daughter of Ami and Billy, stays connected to her fans and posts about her life on social media several times a week.

In the past, the 16-year-old has used Instagram as a platform to speak about her depression and share what it's really like being on a reality show. Once, she even sparked engagement rumors with a suspicious photo of a ring on *that* finger (but quickly shut them down). Rain is known for being very open with her followers through her lengthy captions and is a self-proclaimed "inspirational writer." Recently, the teenager lived up to that title with an emotional post addressed "to anyone that feels like giving up."

"Pain is something not many will talk about. Pain of the past, pain of the present, and fear of pain in the future. Let me tell you now you are being too hard on yourself," she wrote. "Your efforts didn’t fail. Your motivational tactics still work. You’re still strong. But sometimes things fail. Not because of us, but just because that’s the way it’s meant to be."

Rain's touching words come in the wake of some tough times for the Brown family. Over the past several years, the Discovery stars have supported each other through Ami's cancer battle, adjusted to a new life in Washington, and struggled to deal with Matt's addiction issues.

Despite those hardships, Rain is here to remind everyone—including herself—that they shouldn't give up.

Her full message is below:

"To anyone that feels like giving up: some days you feel defeat. You try so hard, you get strong and motivated and after all of your efforts you’re once again let down. Pain is something not many will talk about. Pain of the past, pain of the present, and fear of pain in the future. Let me tell you now you are being too hard on yourself. Your efforts didn’t fail. Your motivational tactics still work. You’re still strong. But sometimes things fail. Not because of us, but just because that’s the way it’s meant to be. It’s often quite ugly to examine, but quite useful nonetheless. We all have pain but suffering is something we control. So when you think about giving up, think to yourself, “what would happen if I didn’t?” The answer is, you will never know if you do. You can give up anytime. What’s the rush? Let’s see what tomorrow brings together ♥️ Thank you for reading."
