The 'Today' anchor is sharing a health win with fans.

Al Roker is happy to be so mobile again following his knee replacement surgeries.

The Today weather forecaster took to Instagram on March 21 to share a health win with his fans and followers, posting a photo of the Activity app screen on his Apple Watch, which depicted that he had taken 11, 184 steps over the course of the day.

"Before my left knee went south, a 10k+ step day was no big deal. Today was the first day, I felt good walking this much," he shared in the caption of the upload, adding, "But the knee replacement of this 22 year old knee replacement is just around the corner."

The famed morning show host—who has appeared on the broadcast since 1996—underwent a left knee replacement in 2001, having the opposite knee replaced in 2016. Last September, he opened up about possibly needing the surgery again, after a hospital visit and x-ray to drain knee fluid.

"Bad news: probably need to get the knee replaced within the year," he wrote in the caption of a Sept. 17 Instagram post at the time.

Roker has dealt with a myriad of health issues over the past several years, including everything from a 2020 cancer diagnosis prompting a 5-hour surgery to remove his prostate, to the two previous knee replacements, gastric bypass, hip replacement, and surgeries for carpal tunnel and back issues.

Most recently, the beloved weatherman was out of work due to a frightening health crisis after his medical team discovered he had two bleeding ulcers, in addition to lung and leg blood clots. He underwent having his colon re-sectioned, and doctors were forced to remove his gallbladder and operate on his duodenum, part of the small intestine.

As Parade previously reported, Roker recently looked back on his health crisis, saying, "I lost half my blood. They were trying to figure out where it was."

From the looks of it, he's doing much better now, as he's back to work in his usual TV spot and recovering as best as possible. We're sending Al well wishes and wishing him good health for the future!
