Back in April, Airbnb launched Online Experiences, the virtual version of the platform's popular Experiences. Now as summer approaches and it becomes clear that most of probably won't be traveling too far in the upcoming months, Airbnb has created a new lineup of virtual experiences to help keep us entertained at home.

The company released a statement today detailing its new adventures, which include a colorful lineup of LGBTQ+ led experiences for Pride month. Users can choose experiences like the LGBTQ Culture & Nightlife Experience, which is based in London, costs $4 a person, and is led by TikTok star @moonlight_experiences. "It won't be a night in without getting mesmerized by meeting talented activists or drag queens, drag kings who make our community special," the description reads. More of a poet? Jo from Oregon is hosting a queer poetry workshop to help you hone your craft. And if you're looking to share some secrets over sangria, you can take a live cocktail making class with some fabulous Drag Queens in Portugal for $35.

We know we’ve been in silence, but for a good reason! When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself. And we did it, big time! Since we closed our doors because of the stupid covid19, we had to refund tickets to our guests till Dezember 2020, the fear of closing doors forever was big. But we, as a team, brainstormed, and after lots of bad, some ridiculous and some good ideas, we created an Online Interactive Experience: Sangria and Secrets with Drag Queens! After dozens of tests, we were one of the first to sell it on Airbnb. We adventured ourselves in an unknown world, as artists that connect daily with people, feel their heat, and perform looking our guests in their eyes, we tried And today we are the biggest Experience in the world. In the past 30 days, Drag Taste has sold over 5000 tickets and got over 850 reviews, of which 839 are 5*. We do it 4 times a day, always Sold Out! Friends and family that are apart from each other can connect, dance, laugh and make at the same time with us, step by step, the perfect Portuguese Sangria. We had online birthdays (where we make cakes, sing happy birthday and blow the candles), weddings, bachelorette parties, team-building activities, cute dates, and so much more. People use our Experience to connect with the ones they love, or they come alone and meet others. During those 90 minutes, we do our Live Shows, we make people dress in a more fabulous way, we sing and dance altogether, and many more surprises! But, the best part is arriving to the end, and have a glass of fresh sangria while talking with people from 5 continents, about their lives, what they are feeling and telling them everything about Portugal, Drag Queens and answering every kinky question they make us😂 We, as a team, in quarantine, reinvent ourselves, fought hard, and made it! Join us one day! Be safe! Keep smiling and see you soon, online, or when we decide to open our doors here in Lisbon! Airbnb has also partnered with The Actors Fund to offer artists in the United States the chance to not only curate enjoyable interactive experiences for users at home, but to generate a stream of income as the industry remains shut down. For $25, you can learn how to master improv with Carl in New York, or for $16 you can hang with Matthew, also NY-based, and is an Emmy Award-winning medical clown who swallows swords.

Meanwhile, partnerships with the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee will bring some action-packed programming into your home. Starting in July, you can do a $12 workout class with Sofia, a Paralympian and two-time World champion who struggles with a form of dwarfism known as achondroplasia. Or learn recovery techniques in this $18 experience with Neville, who has represented Canada in three Olympic Games.

Basically, Airbnb is brimming with virtual experiences of all sorts hosted by some of the most talented creatives across the world. You can dive in to Airbnb's online experience hub here.
