Adorable toddler dozes while trying to eat
This TikTok parent shared a hilariously adorable video of her toddler son dozing off while trying to eat!
Mil (@milandthefam) is a mom and TikToker who shares videos about her life with her husband and toddler son, Noah. While Noah is generally a ball of energy, the toddler reached his limit recently after a long day playing at the pool. In a funny video, Mil shared how Noah got so sleepy after his big day of swimming and playing, that he started to fall asleep while trying to eat his dinner!

The video begins with a shot of the family’s living room. Noah sits in a high chair in the center of the room with a plate of food in front of him, while the family’s dog looks up at him, and his food, longingly.
As the camera moves around, Noah’s dad can be seen sitting on the floor behind a coffee table. The dad is also enjoying his dinner, and appears to be watching TV. Noah, meanwhile, is struggling to stay awake.
“When you just can’t control it,” Mil writes in a caption.
Noah’s eyelids flutter, then his eyes close. The toddler’s head begins to sway back and forth, then suddenly, he falls sideways. Then, he jerks away mid-fall, sitting up and opening his eyes.
Mil’s husband looks up at the toddler and rolls his eyes. Then, he stands up and approaches Noah, to make sure the toddler doesn’t hurt himself as he falls asleep. Mil’s husband reaches out his arm so that, if Noah falls asleep again, the toddler won’t bang his head on anything.

At first, the toddler seems to have fully woken up. But then, his eyes begin to close again and he begins to sway. Mil’s husband gently removes the bib that is hanging around the toddler’s neck, then watches as the toddler falls in and out of sleep. From behind the camera, Mil can be heard laughing.
“We took him to the pool and this was the after results,” Mil explains in a caption. “I was trying for him not to take a nap cause it was way too late, but it was inevitable.”
Viewers were cracking up at the sleepy toddler!
“The naps after the pool do hit different though,” one viewer wrote.
“Dad knew the assignment! He was quick to aid,” another TikToker commented.
“He’s trying so hard to stay awake and aww, he is so cute!” another viewer chimed in.
Hopefully, Noah got to take a good nap after the video ended!
