The New adidas x Disney ‘The Mighty Ducks’ Collection Features New Ultraboost 1.0 DNAs, Jerseys and More

adidas has joined forces with frequent collaborator Disney for its new collaboration. This time, the duo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original The Mighty Ducks film to deliver a new apparel and footwear collection.

The gear for the 30th anniversary includes a few adidas staples, like the three versions of the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 DNA, made in fresh colorways with small details that pay homage to the iconic film. The color palette is rooted in a colorful palette with elements referencing the Mighty Ducks team and their rivals, the Hawks. The Ducks shoes feature bright green, yellow, and purple, the Hawks shoes include the sleeker blend of black, blue, and white, and the Ducks Jesse Hall Shoes are complete with a winter-friendly mix of maroon, turquoise, and white.
The 1.0 DNAs are not only standouts in this collaboration but also among the best adidas sneakers of 2022. They have adidas’ breathable and lightweight Primeknit upper, and the brand’s boost technology that changed the meaning of what a responsive midsole should look like, feel like, and run like. And, in line with adidas’ aim to end plastic waste by 2024, the Ultraboost DNA 1.0 is made with Primeblue — a high-performance material made from recycled plastic intersected from shorelines and coastal areas.
In addition to the adidas running shoes, the special capsule includes the original jerseys from the 1992 film. While the Anaheim Ducks or Chicago Blackhawks will not wear the jerseys, fans can purchase the commemorative items for a limited time. They feature adidas’ signature Aeroready technology to keep you dry, the team’s mascot screen art, and all-over retro, athletic styling.
Even if you aren’t a huge fan of The Mighty Ducks film, trust us — the collection’s unique designs and color stories add just enough pop of color to any outfit. Each piece is also a practical holiday gift for sneakerheads and a cool gift for men or women on your list.
