Addison Rae loooooves a good fashion moment. She recently heated things up on IG in a sheer red dress with a black lace thong, made neon cool again in a lime green bodycon dress, and said "adios" to winter in a metallic swimsuit. We'll buy whatever she tells us to, honestly, whether it's the viral SKIMS slip dress or the fuzzy bucket hat that every celeb seems to be wearing these days. But Addison proved that she knows vintage style just as well as she knows all things trendy as she stepped out looking like Marilyn Monroe reincarnated in not one but two iconic looks. 😍
She wore the first look, a pink Versace 2005 archival dress, to the Elvis pre-Golden Globe Awards party in honor of what would've been the King of Rock and Roll's 88th birthday. Addison looked radiant in the halter dress as she flashed a glowing, confident smile in photos released by the Daily Mail. The plunging neckline of Addison's dress is similar to one of Marilyn Monroe's most recognizable, iconic looks: the white dress from her The Seven Year Itch subway grate portrait.
And as if that wasn't enough of a slay, Addison served a second Marilyn moment on her way to the Golden Globes Afterparty in a pure white cutout dress with a flirty, ruffled hem. The sweetheart neckline midi featured thin, barely-there halter straps (squint, and you'll see them) that once again reminded us of the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes actress and her famous white dress.
Addison wore towering white platform heels with a peep toe front and a thin ankle strap to match her mermaidcore dress, as well as a small pendant necklace. The social media star was spotted leaving the party with her boyfriend, record producer Omer Fedi, and was all smiles as she flounced her dress for the cameras.
If the white Marilyn-inspired is giving you a little deja vu, that's because Addison wore it to the premiere of her movie, He's All That, in August 2021. Historically, celebs have strayed away from wearing the same red carpet 'fit twice, but recently, stars like Selena Gomez, Mindy Kaling, and Addison have reached for the same ensemble again. TBH, we love sustainable fashion icons.
