Addison Rae Gives Working Out a Y2K Twist in Teeny Shorts and UGG Boots

Addison Rae must have taken a time machine to get to her pilates class in L.A., 'cause her workout 'fit is a complete throwback to the '00s. She's wearing all of the noughties necessities from her spandex headbanded hair to her UGG boots, and tbh, we're not mad about it. After all, Y2K is back in full force and itsy-bitsy shorts are par for the course.
The TikTok queen has played the part of pilates princess numerous times, with us tracking every single one of her praise-worthy workout wear appearances. Whether it was the preppy in green shorts and sporty chic in a windbreaker, or pioneering the no-pants trend, we thought we'd seen just about every iteration of casual wear out there, but Addison showed us that she's got more looks to give. She's recently been loving neutrals, wearing a milky-hued ruffled dress and black sheer crochet gown out and about in NYC, all while keeping her nails matching the black-and-white theme. Her most recent teeny short and crop top combo is no exception to the monochrome moment she's having.
Walking out of her workout sesh to her car, Addison was seen wearing a pair of tight, mid-rise spandex short shorts. The subtle folded-over waist reminds us of our fave Victoria's Secret yoga pants from the '00s that were always complete with this detail (and rhinestones, ofc). Addison sports a spaghetti strap, black tank on top with a t-shirt pulled around the back of her head, with her arms through the cap sleeves. The He's All That star pulled the top up in a cropped style to show off a sliver of her midriff.
While we're obsessed with Rae's revamping of athleisure basics, the main stars of her outfit are her accessories. Wearing her long hair down, Addison pushes back the front strands with a spandex headband, which has been her go-to accessory as of late. Rocking an unexpected eyewear choice alongside a couple of Starface Acne Patches, Addison shows off a pair of large, black-rimmed glasses. Moving down her look, we see pearl drop earrings, a black gem pendant necklace, and a Prada Re-Edition 2005 Re-Nylon mini bag. Last but certainly not least is her soon-to-be viral, Y2K icon shoes which are the Bailey Bow II Short UGG Boots in black. How adorable are the little bows on the back of the sherpa-lined shoes?!
