The Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, and his Victoria's Secret supermodel wife, Behati Prinsloo, are certainly a 2010s power couple. Impressive respective careers aside, we think their taste in interior design alone is awe-inspiring. Photos from their interior designer, Clements Design, reveal that their home bar is perfectly in line with the latest interior design trend: quiet luxury.

The singer's home bar is simultaneously understated and sophisticated, capturing the quiet luxury or 'stealth wealth' trend. The walls are a deep green color, with stylish light gray marble on the bar and around the fireplace. In the nearby lounge, a large gray couch and plaid Jacques Adnet lounge chairs provide the perfect place for relaxation. A modern orange and green portrait by Henry Taylor creates a bold pop of color. Designers love the way the simple elegance of space epitomizes the quiet luxury interior trend.
Of the home bar, Leni Calas, New-York-City-based interior designer and founder of Ward 5 Design says, 'It's inventive, and a lot more brutalist/industrial than most bars you normally see, which tend to be adorned in gold and glass to make the bottles really shine. While this look is rather dark, it tells the average viewer that the bottles alone are of such high quality that they don't need a flashy presentation to be worth what they are.' The neutral colors and industrial details allow the high-end liquors furniture to speak for themselves, emphasizing their value.
Furthermore, the understated quality of the space creates a cozy and relaxed feel, the experts say. Leni Calas states: 'For me, the ambiance is in the casualty of the bar. It's a major component of the room, without calling out too hard for attention. The open side entrance allows anyone to pass through and congregate while talking and socializing with people sitting at the bar or in the living room beside it. The ambiance is in the versatility of the space, allowing it to be a hub for larger gatherings, or a calming place of solitude for an average cocktail-enthusiast.' Behati and Adam's space provides the perfect home bar idea for entertainment.
Interior designers say that the muted color palette and materials in the home bar go a long way. Design expert Lauren Deakin states, 'Gray marble is timeless.' She continues, 'In this space, other textures such as concrete and earth tones ground the high-end material while a pop of color in the painting brings it all together. '
The green walls are the perfect quiet luxury color in the home bar. 'The green walls help to bring the outside in complimenting the natural elements within the room (wood, marble and concrete). It also works harmoniously with the green in the painting tying the room together even more,' says Lauren Deakin.
Leni Calas adds: 'The green walls are exactly what's needed to infuse a small dash of color to an otherwise industrial modern space. The earthy green alongside the natural materials seen in the bar and furnishings, makes us feel like this home is immersed in nature. The green walls make for a dark, moody space, while the gray marble and white stools contrast to bring in elements of light from the outside.'
The stealth wealth trend is forecasted to last far into 2024, so take some inspiration from Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo and you can make even a small home bar idea look extra luxurious.
