There’s been yet another secret baby arrival, ladies and gents! Adam Driver reportedly revealed that he and his wife Joanne Tucker welcomed a baby girl this year. The news came to light during a dress rehearsal for Saturday Night Live, when the Girls actor — who hosted the show for the fourth time this past weekend — made a quip about his little one.

“Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting,” he said when practicing his monologue, per Page Six. “So this year, I wish for Ambien!”

The big news did not make it into his final monologue, making it a strange half-reveal. Nothing like Keke Palmer’s iconic, showstopping pregnancy announcement during her SNL monologue. It’s unclear why the change was made, but we have to give a hearty congratulations to Adam and Joanne!

News broke in February that the two were expecting a little one when the Report actress was spotted with a baby bump. A “secret” baby is nothing new for the couple. In late 2018, it was reported that they had a 2-year-old son. The Driver-Tucker fam is certainly good at keeping things hush hush!

The parents of two are among good company, joining many celebrities who secretly welcomed bundles of joy this year. Paris Hilton and Carter Reum secretly welcomed a baby boy, Phoenix, in Jan. 2023 and a baby girl, London, in Nov. 2023. Ashley Olsen and Louis Eisner secretly welcomed baby Otto, announcing the news in Aug. 2023. And Chrissy Teigen infamously welcomed baby Wren via surrogate in June 2023, just months after welcoming her daughter Esti.

Yes, Hilton and Teigen are both in the two under 1 club.

Regardless of their timeline or reasoning, we are so happy for all the families who welcomed kiddos this year and for the precious one-on-one moments they shared before anyone else knew their happy news.
