Lucy Hale has been in the public eye for the majority of her life at this point. The Pretty Little Liars star got her start in the acting industry in the mid-2000s, and now in her 30s, Hale reported to People that she’s the most confident she’s ever been.

“I’m 34 and I’m definitely in alignment with who I am as a woman,” she told the outlet at the Longchamp x Robert Indiana collection launch in New York City on Oct. 26. “Something happens around this age where you just feel a little bit more confident."

While she added that she often put herself outside of her comfort zone for the sake of others throughout her 20s, she says that today, she does a better job of staying true to herself, even down to the clothing she wears.

“Now I think, ‘How can I reflect what’s going on [inside] in the way that I dress?’ Do we ever really figure it out? I don’t know, but I feel like I’m close to it,” Hale noted.

Whether she’s rocking a bold statement-making outfit for Paris Fashion Week or posing for a magazine feature, Hale’s inner self-confidence has been obvious of late. In addition to opening up about confidence, The Hating Game star uses her platforms to share candid thoughts on mental health and emotional well-being.

While serving as a keynote speaker at the 2023 One Young World Summit Belfast earlier this month, Hale noted that mental health is a “lifelong journey,” and one that she is often open and honest about.
