Plenty of celebrities have been confused for another star at some point in their career. But most recently, E! News pointed out the uncanny resemblance between pop star Justin Bieber and The Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley. "We know Paul Wesley and Justin Bieber aren't the same person, but have we ever seen them in a room together?" the account posted on Instagram on Nov. 15, and Wesley was quick to join in on the fun in the comments. E! News posted a series of photos of Bieber and Wesley through the years, including pictures of the two stars in their teens holding babies. The post caught the eye of Wesley, who commented on the photo, joking, "He's my son."
Wesley's former romantic interest on The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev, decided to get in on the fun, too. She replied to Wesley's comment, adding, "Our love child" (even though Dobrev and Wesley never dated in real life). Wesley commented once more with a series of hilarious hashtags: "#proudparents #wemissyouson #callusback."

I think we lead very different lives," she said in 2009.
