From Actor to 'The Bachelor'! What We Know About Ariel’s Last Beau

Sexy brunette’s splashy life is revealed.

Ariel Frenkel, one of the top competitors vying for Zach Shallcross' final rose on The Bachelor, previously dated a hunky TV actor.

The brunette stunner, 28, has so far come across as the most composed, humorous, and sophisticated of the ABC reality show’s season 27 competitors.

And no wonder. Parade has discovered the marketing exec from New York City is used to being in the public eye. Ariel was once the girlfriend of Roswell, New Mexico star Michael Vlamis!

The two were photographed together at various events.

On August 19, 2019, Michael shared a picture with then-girlfriend Ariel on his Instagram, as BioWiki reported.

Also, in a wild Tumblr video posted in September 2019, Vlamis told the camera, “I feel so lucky. We just got off set a little bit ago. I got my girlfriend in town.”

Ariel then appears in the video and Vlamis kisses her lovingly on the cheek.

Vlamis jokingly said, “And I got my other girlfriend in town!” swinging the camera to his Roswell co-star Tyler Blackburn, 36, who played his gay lover on the show.

Vlamis kissed Blackburn right on the lips and said, “Oooh.”

As fans know, it was all in fun because Vlamis played bisexual alien cowboy Michael Guerin on the CW show that ran from 2019-2022. Viewers embraced his Roswell storyline with Blackburn, who played Air Force pilot Alex Manes.

The actor looked like he’d spent time hanging out at home with Ariel and his co-star buddy, but at some point, he and his lady split up.

The circumstances behind their breakup are unclear, but Vlamis, now 32, revealed online that as of March 2020, he was dating Aurora Perrineau, the actress daughter of former Lost star Harold Perrineau.

Vlamis noted on Instagram in 2021 about Perrineau, who has appeared on Prodigal Son and Westworld, “One year ago today, I went on a socially distanced walk with this wonderful woman. From the moment she bounced off the curb holding two mason jars full of tequila, I knew I was in trouble. As she revealed how funny, charming, intelligent, and just effortlessly cool she is, I proceeded to make horrible dad jokes for two hours straight….And somehow, a year later, here we are."

As for Ariel, a marketing exec, she moved on to become one of Zach’s contestants on The Bachelor, where she shared a steamy spa date with him in Estonia, as Parade previously reported.

A preview clip for Monday, Feb. 27’s episode showed Ariel, wearing a fiery red low-cut bathing suit, joining Zach on a bench inside the sauna.

But soon, a completely naked man and woman came in!

They asked if they could share the sauna with The Bachelor couple.

Zach and Ariel had no choice but to laugh and agree!

“Oh, my God,” Ariel later chuckled in confessional. “I can’t wait for my parents to see this! Yay!”

Where is Ariel's family from?

According to her ABC bio, “Ariel comes from a big, loving Ukrainian family and is looking to find love like her parents have.

“She is a woman of the world and has traveled everywhere, from Europe to Asia to South America and more!”

The bio describes Ariel as a jet-setter who also loves exploring her New York city hometown.

Ariel has been funny with Zach on The Bachelor, at one point joking, "I'll think about it" when he offered her a rose. She recapped the hilarious moment on her Instagram account.

A Vogue article revealed that in 2021, she was a bridesmaid at the lavish wedding of her close friend, Gabriella de Givenchy, the great-niece of late fashion designer icon Hubert de Givenchy.

Will Ariel become Zach's bride?
