There are few things in this world national treasure Ryan Gosling can’t do. In addition to being an awesome actor and nice guy, he also does things like saving random people’s lives on the street. So, go Ryan!
Apparently there’s one more reason to love Ryan: The man can cook. This isn't a theory—that’s the word straight from his partner, Eva Mendes.
It all started with an Instagram post Eva shared on Tuesday, where she said she was on the way home “after a long day” and thanked “the best catering service ever,” Electric Avenue Chef: “Gracias to Karen and Austin who make delish clean food with so much love. And it’s not just the food, it’s their beautiful smiles, it’s the music they play while they cook, its all of it,” she wrote. “Aaaaand they sent me home with these heart shaped macaroons so you know I’m a lifer now!! 💕”
That’s cool and all, but of course we're curious what Eva and Ryan are cooking up in the kitchen. Thankfully, someone chimed in with this comment, and that’s when things got super interesting: “Love macaroons what else did they make there and do you and Ryan cook 👩🍳 at all?”
Eva responded with, “Ryan is an amazing chef AND baker.” Apparently she anticipated people not believing that he’s really that awesome, because she also wrote, “For reals. Incredible. No joke.”
“I’m not sure that what I do is cooking,” she continued. “It’s more like steaming veggies and juicing and making rice. He really cooks. I survive. ❤️”
One person responded with exactly what the world is now thinking: “Eva, you can’t do this to me. You can’t make me think he’s even more perfect than I think he is! Not fair!”
